Psychopedagogy Intervention for higher education students with Autism spectrum disorder: Asperger's Syndrome

Psychopedagogical intervention is the implementation of psychopedagogy as a multidisciplinary science that adopts the implementation of pedagogy with psychology, thus its scope in education allows the approach of special education needs in order to facilitate a comprehensive learning through the adequacy of the educational process to the unique characteristics of the students who require it. Therefore, Asperger's Syndrome is part of the Autism Spectrum Disorder, and is characterized by a series of difficulties in human beings in terms of social skills and cognitive and motor development that may present exceptionality in specific aspects; and requires attention in school context that contributes to an adequate academic and emotional formation. This article offers a simple vision of Asperger's Disorder to facilitate its understanding and provides a plan with activities that can be adapted to students with Asperger's Disorder in institutes of higher education.
