This study seeks to document the experience of teachers in the evaluation of the instructional design of online courses. The research has been developed based on the case study methodology. The selected sample is made up of 119 teachers who have taught online courses. The information collection process was carried out by adapting an instrument developed by Fernando Doménech, with which the survey “Teaching evaluation of the contents of online courses (Instructional Design)” was designed. This information was unified to create the instrument designed in Google Forms and to obtain the information. The results show high levels of competence and satisfaction, highlighting strengths in the key dimensions of instructional design, but also identifying opportunities for improvement in some areas such as the initial preparation of students and the adequacy of some resources. The importance of the correct implementation of the instructional design process in online education is highlighted, as one of the guarantees for quality education.
