The aging of the population is associated with the deterioration of normal physiological functions, which reach their maximum expression during the last decades of life. A series of pathologies associated with this period of life are faced, such as sarcopenia and mobility disorders that seriously impact the mobility of the average older adult. The sample was carried out on older patients (65 years and older) in the period between February and April 2024. Participants include 15 subjects, 6 female patients and 9 male patients, at the Sisters of Charity Mother Teresa nursing home. from Calcutta. The Daniels scale is an internationally endorsed scale to assess the contractile force exerted by muscles without the use of any manual tools. This test is performed by a rehabilitation graduate. The measurements are divided between hip and knee to identify changes in the patients' muscle strength. In summary, the evaluation of lower limb muscle strength in older adults and older is a key evaluation to identify the benefit of physical exercise in patients.
