We are pleased to present the publication of a new special issue of the journal Conectividad, developed in collaboration with the Universidad Iberoamericana del Ecuador. This edition highlights the joint work of the students of the Master's Degree in Nursing with a major in Critical Care and the professors of this prestigious university, who have contributed with innovative and relevant research in the field of health and critical care.
The special issue includes a selection of articles that address key topics such as:

Conectividad is an open-access electronic journal aimed at professionals and students who carry out research in the broad and detailed fields of knowledge of the social, humanistic, and technical sciences and those transversal to the health field. It promotes the exchange of knowledge and experiences in disciplines.
The editorial objective of the journal is to disseminate humanistic, scientific, and technical knowledge related to the following lines of research:
In addition, it publishes research based on training, practice, and professional expertise management. The journal is published semiannually and will be published in January and July. Its publication is accessible by the principle of universality and free access to scientific information.
The Editorial Board is made up of professionals from various national and foreign universities.
