The Suzuki Forsa 2 vehicle is an accepted and nationally circulating model, whose original steering system is a traditional mechanical drive or mechanism. In 2022, the repowering of the steering system was developed in a hydraulically operated system, where the comfort and ergonomic performance were substantially improved. The analysis of this new modified steering system emphasizes the determination of analytical variables of the mechanical and hydraulic section in this vehicle steering, where a total mass value of 820 kg is taken into account when considering the net vehicle weight and the two-seater configuration. The braking load on the car is specified at 4920 N as an initial aspect for the calculation of; reactions on the axles, mass or weight transfer, forces on the front wheels, acceleration in a curve state, force in a curve state and, moments of resistance that originate in the steering wheels of the car under study. Finally, the relevant variables of the hydraulic drive system (flow – pressure – force – supply time – driver capacity) are analyzed in the repowered steering of the Suzuki Forsa 2 car.
