The main theory maintains that greater financial education improves resource management, correct decision-making and resilience in the face of economic difficulties, especially in a country where different social events are taking place that have had an impact on the local economy. Therefore, this study aims to provide an empirical basis for the creation of a training plan that improves financial education in the Daule canton. Improving the financial skills of entrepreneurs and EPS members is expected to promote more inclusive and sustainable economic development that benefits the entire community. In contrast, financial education as a basis for the development of ventures and organizations of the popular and solidarity economy (EPS) is due to correct strategic planning, sustainability and efficient management of resources according to different management models through financial education. Data is collected on participants' financial attitudes and skills through a survey based on the psychology of financial behavior. These data allow an analysis of the relationship between management practices and financial knowledge within organizations, concluding that people are more emotional when acquiring or leaving aside some type of asset.
