Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has demonstrated its potential as a promising tool in the field of education, with significant implications for how education and knowledge acquisition are approached. The inclusion of AI in education has allowed for a boost in educational content recommendation, making learning more personalized and efficient. The goal is for artificial intelligence to serve as a significant support to educators. Currently, there are educational applications that utilize machine learning algorithms to enhance learning. However, the aim is to go further, enabling students to receive automatic and efficient feedback in online education. Various sources of information, such as scientific articles and specialized journals, were used  to gather and analyze relevant data. The purpose of this systematic review is to understand the current state of scientific research related to the topic. The results reveal that the implementation of AI in education has proven beneficial in several aspects, including automated assessment, adaptive learning processes, and the optimization of educational effectiveness. AI has the potential to transform education, but it is essential to address the challenges and ensure ethical and effective implementation.
