Global aging is significantly impacting the healthcare system, as older adults are more susceptible to problems such as malnutrition, falls, and injuries. These factors make it crucial to design preventive measures to reduce morbidity and mortality rates in geriatric centers. The main objective of this research was based on the holistic evaluation of the physical health, nutrition, and management of bedridden patients at the Santa Luisa de Marillac Geriatric Center in the province of Imbabura in 2024, through the following specific objectives: evaluating skin condition to prevent pressure ulcers, applying tests on physical condition, and developing a physiotherapy treatment protocol. An observational, cross-sectional, descriptive, and quantitative method was used, applying various comprehensive assessment tests in nursing, physiotherapy, and nutrition to determine the health status of geriatric patients. Comprehensive geriatric assessment helps identify older adults at risk and develop individualized care plans to improve their health and quality of life.
