Análisis del flicker y la calidad de energía en lámparas led y CFL bajo regímenes de conmutación cíclica

Resumen

El presente estudio analiza experimentalmente el efecto de los ciclos de encendido y apagado sobre la calidad de energía y la severidad del flicker eléctrico en lámparas de diodos emisores de luz (LED) y lámparas fluorescentes compactas (CFL). Las mediciones se realizaron en condiciones controladas de laboratorio, con tensión nominal de 127 V y frecuencia de 60 Hz, aplicando regímenes de conmutación continua y cíclica de 10, 30 y 60 minutos de encendido, seguidos de 2 s de apagado, durante ensayos de 24 h. Se emplearon los índices normalizados de flicker a corto y largo plazo (Pst y Plt), calculados automáticamente por un analizador Fluke 1775 conforme a las normas IEC 61000-4-15 e IEC 61000-4-30. Los resultados muestran que las lámparas LED mantienen Plt < 1 en todos los regímenes, cumpliendo los límites de severidad establecidos por la norma, mientras que las CFL alcanzan valores de Plt > 3 durante la operación continua, evidenciando una mayor sensibilidad térmica y eléctrica. La correlación ΔV–Plt confirma que el flicker en las CFL depende significativamente de las variaciones de tensión, mientras que las LED presentan una respuesta lineal y estable. En conjunto, la tecnología LED demuestra una mayor inmunidad ante fluctuaciones de tensión y una operación más confiable frente a conmutaciones repetitivas. Cabe señalar que los índices Pst y Plt se derivan exclusivamente de mediciones de tensión (flicker eléctrico), sin incluir mediciones fotométricas directas del flujo luminoso.
