This article describes a clinical case of a partial prosthesis made of PEEK (polyetheretherketone), a high-performance polymer that is currently presented as an advanced alternative compared to conventional metal or acrylic partial prostheses. PEEK offers multiple advantages. One of the most notable is its biocompatibility, a property that does not cause allergies or infections in the oral mucosa. In addition, its lightness provides greater comfort to the patient and reduces jaw fatigue, while its flexibility contributes to an optimal fit that minimizes bone resorption. These properties make the PEEK prosthesis an ideal option for patients who prioritize comfort, aesthetics and durability. Throughout the article, the process of manufacturing and placing the prosthesis is described with a digital flow through which the effectiveness and precision of this technology in prosthetic treatment is demonstrated. Likewise, the advantages of the PEEK material are highlighted in comparison with traditional alternatives, which include the absence of corrosion and the elimination of risks associated with allergies to metal or acrylic. This clinical case provides evidence on the viability and benefits of this technology in dental practice.
