Analysis of the academic performance of the students through the statistical model T Student

The aim of this study is to analyze the extent to which various factors influence students’ grades and academic performance. This research was conducted due to the high variability observed in the grades assigned by teachers. The study seeks to identify how different variables affect student scores, in order to help teachers and tutors improve the quality of their teaching through continuous assessment of learning. The analysis was carried out using a Kaggle dataset containing 1,000 records. Contingency tables, measures of central tendency, and the Student’s t-test were applied, with data processed using SPSS. The results show that 51.8% of the students are female, with an average grade of 69, while 48.2% are male, with an average of 64.67. According to the models analyzed, gender emerged as one of the most influential variables in academic performance.
