The objective of this paper is to analyze the impact on non-oil exports of our country due to the tariff preferences of the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) by the United States. For this purpose, the indirect observation technique is used by reviewing statistical information on non-oil exports for the last five years. Among the results obtained, the economic and commercial movements of the main products to benefit jointly with their marketing chain were evidenced. It was concluded that the United States continues to be our main trading partner, despite not having the SGP, approximately 20% of non-oil exports in 2021 went to this country, products such as summer flowers, fruit pulp, made of wood, among others.
