Special Issue Policy
Conectividad Journal reserves the space to publish up to two special issues per year. Proposals submitted for this purpose must follow the procedure outlined below:
- Special issues must strictly adhere to the journal’s editorial guidelines and established best practices check here.
- Manuscripts must be academic or scientific articles and may include contributions originating from conferences.
- All submissions are required to undergo a double-blind peer-review process without exception.
- A duly signed copyright transfer agreement must be provided for each manuscript, completed by all contributing authors.
Procedure
One designated author will be responsible for formally submitting the special issue proposal, which will be evaluated by the Editorial and Scientific Board. The Board will assess the relevance, originality, timeliness, and thematic coherence of the manuscripts in relation to the journal’s scope.
The proposer of the special issue must suggest potential area editors. The appointed area editors will then be responsible for selecting the reviewers for each manuscript.
