Analysis of reverse logistics gaps in the textile industry in the andean community in relation to ISO 59004-59010 standards

Abstract

This study evaluates reverse logistics practices in the textile supply chain in the Andean Community, comparing them with the requirements established by ISO 59004 and ISO 59010 standards. A mixed methodological approach combining quantitative and qualitative techniques was used. The results reveal significant gaps in infrastructure, technical training, and institutional coordination, particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises, which represent 78% of the sector. Spearman's correlation analysis revealed critical interdependencies between access to financing, integrated logistics networks, and technical training (r=1.000, p<0.01), while the multiple regression model identified financing as a significant predictor of logistics integration (β=0.52, p<0.05). It is concluded that the transition to a circular economy requires integrated policies, technical capacity building, and investment in specialized infrastructure.
