Abstract

Cyberspace configures a place of anonymity and, therefore, a space where that "naturalized" history, which could not be present when the issuer takes flesh and name or when he is in front of the scrutiny of the public opinion, also present with a body and a name, is casually summoned. The present work will give an account of the world of YouTube, a website that allows users to share digital videos through the Internet. These videos can in turn be commented, discussed and reviewed by those who visit this virtual platform. Although the topics are diverse, several positive trends have been shown in the videos and lists of comments where users pour their impressions on them. The study shows that the history of Peru, from cyberspace, ceases to be a matter of "versions" or different narratives about the same facts; that is, of epics constructed by elites with a national project under their arms; to become "nature", an atmospheric description of the world, such as natural history or cosmogony for those who profess a particular religious belief.
