This article presents the design, application, and evaluation of a strategic model for innovation management in the Production Centers of Goods and Services (CEPROBYS) at the Rumiñahui University Institute. The research was based on a mixed methodological approach with an exploratory sequential design, supported by the approaches of Hernández & Collado (2018) The study was carried out over a six-month period and included a pilot test in three CEPROBYS, with the participation of 45 key stakeholders, including directors, professors, and technicians, who actively contributed to data collection through surveys, interviews, and observation forms. The findings reveal that the implementation of the model significantly strengthened the institutional innovation culture. According to the empirical evidence, there was a 40% increase in participation in innovative projects, a 30% increase in the adoption of emerging technologies, and a 45% increase in the perception of innovation as a strategic axis in center management. These results reflect that innovation not only becomes an institutional objective but also a transversal axis that directly impacts the quality of productive and educational processes, become sustainable
