Impact of the use of electronic devices on the health of college students

Student welfare and the use of technologies is an innovative topic that has aroused great interest around the world, due to its impacting research results in various countries determining the physiological alteration of the respondents in correlation to the responses acquired. For this reason, this study gives us to know about the implication of technology in the health of the student community of the Instituto Tecnológico Universitario de Formación through the use of technological devices, by means of statistical analysis of a sample determined on the effects caused by the frequency of these devices. Of 100 people surveyed, 38.5% showed visual problems, 24.5% headache, while 5.2% had no symptoms and 3.2% had problems with sleep, due to the use of electronic devices between 4 to 6 hours per day on average, 44.1% used this time for research of planned activities. However, 81.5% do not receive professional help to treat those symptoms caused by the devices mentioned. Therefore, it is considered necessary to implement a prevention program for these health problems caused by the continuous use of electronic devices.
